The ACSA National Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and contributions that organisations, teams, and individuals in the aged care industry have made throughout the year. The awards were presented during the ACSA National Summit on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in Sydney.
Warrigal named Aged Care Provider of the Year
Epicor customer, not-for-profit aged and retirement living provider, Warrigal, was awarded national Aged Care Provider of the Year for its outstanding leadership, management, workforce culture, innovation, communication, and general excellence in the aged care sector.
In addition, our congratulations to David Macdonald, Warrigal's manager of strategy and information systems, who won NSW/ACT 'Employee of the Year' award. This recognised his contribution to the delivery of services in implementing the technological environment which has been created to support the growing operations at Warrigal's Shell Cove community, including an online portal.
We are very proud to partner with Warrigal and help in their efforts to provide exceptional aged care services.
Eldercare's Tanya Liddle named South Australian Employee of the Year
We would also like to congratulate Tanya Liddle, dementia excellence facilitator at Eldercare, who was named South Australian 'Employee of the Year'.
Eldercare, an existing Epicor customer, is a community service organisation and a not-for-profit charity that offers approximately 1,000 licensed aged care beds and more than 200 self-contained retirement units across South Australia.
Epicor has worked with Eldercare to provide a platform designed specifically for the aged care sector to automate processes.
